12V Recovery Winch for 4x4s, Recovery Trucks and Car Transporters

The Novawinch Stinger 12,000lb is a 12V electric winch with steel wire rope and DUO wireless plus wired control. Is the Stinger 12000 wire rope winch 12V only?

Yes. The Stinger 12000 is a 12V electric winch, so it runs from a standard 12V vehicle or battery system. That makes it suitable for 4x4s, recovery trucks, car transporters and plant that use 12V. If you need 24V, the PRO PLUS or PRO MAX series offer 24V options at similar or higher capacities.

Does this Stinger come with wireless remote?

Yes. This model includes the DUO Control System: a wireless remote so you can operate the winch from a safer position, plus a wired backup connection. If the wireless battery is low or signal is poor, you can still use the wired remote. Both are included in the box.

Why choose wire rope over synthetic on the Stinger 12000?
