Connect Any Impact Gun to Any Socket

The Solid X 6-Piece Impact Socket Adapter Set removes the "wrong size drive" problem. Adapt your tools up or down from 1/4" to 3/4": run a heavy 3/4" truck socket on a 1/2" gun, or step down to 1/4" for smaller fixings. All six adapters are CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum) to handle torque transfer without shearing the male drive.

What drive sizes does this adapter set cover?

Can I use a 3/4" socket with my 1/2" impact wrench?

Yes. The set includes a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter, so you can drive heavy HGV or tractor sockets with a 1/2" impact gun without buying a 3/4" wrench. The 3/4" to 1/2" adapter lets you use 1/2" sockets on a 3/4" gun. Both are CR-MO for torque transfer.

Adapters take high stress, especially when stepping up drive size. CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum) is forged to handle torque transfer without shearing the male drive. Cheap adapters can break at the stud; CR-MO reduces the risk of failure under impact. Black phosphate finish resists rust.
