Unbroken 8–24mm Plus Heavy Sizes to 36mm

Eliminate missing sizes with the Solid X 22-Piece 1/2" Drive Short Impact Socket Set. Standard sets often skip sizes or stop at 32mm; this master set gives every metric size from 8mm to 24mm, plus 27, 30, 32, 34 and 36mm. So you're covered from small fixings through to heavy axle and hub nuts. All CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum), built for impact wrenches without splitting.

Short Profile for Tight Spaces

Short (shallow) sockets fit where deep sockets can't, suspension top mounts, caliper carrier bolts behind a hub, and other tight spots. The 6-point profile gives maximum grip. 36mm is common for front hub nuts on VW, Audi and BMW; few 1/2" sets include it, so you can leave the 3/4" kit in the van.

What sizes are included in this short impact socket set?

Why short (shallow) sockets rather than deep?

Short sockets fit tight spaces where deep sockets won't, e.g. suspension top mounts or caliper carrier bolts behind a hub. They're the right choice when you need low profile and access. This set is shallow throughout.

What is the 36mm socket for?

36mm is common for front hub/axle nuts on many VW, Audi and BMW vehicles. Few 1/2" drive sets include 36mm; this one lets you remove those nuts with your standard 1/2" impact gun without switching to 3/4" tooling.

Why CR-MO for these sockets?

CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum) is forged to take the high-torque impact of modern impact wrenches without splitting, even on the larger 36mm sizes. Chrome vanadium is more brittle under impact; CR-MO is the professional choice.
