Every socket is CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum), forged to absorb the torque and vibration of air and battery impact wrenches. Standard chrome vanadium (Cr-V) hand sockets can shatter under impact; CR-MO flexes slightly to absorb shock for safety and longevity.
Deep Profile for Recessed Nuts and Long Studs
Deep sockets reach nuts recessed in truck wheels and suspension, and clear long protruding studs (e.g. U-bolts). Machined to tight tolerances to reduce rounding of stubborn or rusted bolt heads. Black phosphate finish resists rust and grime in wet recovery environments. Supplied in a hard shell carry case. 1/2" square drive fits standard impact wrenches.
