What is the weight capacity of these aluminium wheel stands?

The Rydam aluminium "X" wheel stands have a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 11,000kg per pair (5,500kg each). They are proof-tested to 18,000kg with zero distortion, making them suitable for heavy commercial vehicles, armoured trucks and large 4x4s.

Can I use them for long-term vehicle storage or display?

Yes. The "X" geometry provides a wide, stable footprint that cradles the tyre and is excellent for long-term display or storage. Unlike jack stands, which can be unstable if bumped, these wheel stands hold the wheel firmly for workshop, showroom or event use.

Are they lighter than steel wheel stands?

Yes. Made from aluminium with double inner load plates and bolted-and-welded construction, they are much lighter than equivalent steel stands. They are easier to position and move around the workshop, reducing strain and trip hazards.

Can I use the stands on their side to change height?

No. These stands are designed for vertical load only. Use them upright in the "X" position as intended. Using them on their side compromises structural integrity and is unsafe.
