Through our experience in a diverse range of transport, vehicle recovery and logistical operations, we understand the requirement of lifting and lashing chain components to make our own assemblies.
As a result of looking for the best suppliers to facilitate our needs, we have forged links with the top distributors in the industry and expanded our stock-holding so that we can now provide our customers with the highest quality components and value for money, all backed up by the usual Rydam quality service and expertise.
Aside from the standard grade 80 lifting components that we always stock, we have now increased our stock profile to hold the equivalent components in grade 100 form.
With Rydam lifting and lashing equipment, you can be safe in the knowledge that you have all bases covered when securing your loads or carrying out contracted lifts. Also available (but not stocked) are grade 120 components which offer around 50% increased capacity over the equivalent grade 80 components.
We assemble all chain sets in house from their component parts and provide full certificates of compliance for each set. In addition to this, we always provide stamped identification tags on all lifting chains and offer the option on lashing chains for the safety conscious.
Trailer Service Center
Our state-of-the-art facility houses overhead cranes, pit facilities, truck and trailer vehicle lift facilities, 200t workshop presses and extra wide brake roller testing to cater for over width trailers. We also use the very latest in welding, plasma and flame cutting equipment, operated by our trained and highly skilled staff. You can also find specialist OEM tooling, hydraulic jig straightening, painting and refinishing, hydraulic hoses, fittings and tube supplied and made on site.
Training Centre
Being able to accommodate for over 50 people on site really helps us a company offer a full package, and here at Rydam we have everything under one roof. Training is delivered by leading industry professionals, with industry leading syllabuses and materials. We believe having the ability to touch and feel with onsite practical courses is imperative, that’s why training at our high-end facility ranges from user compliance courses, maintenance courses to technical learning on ebs and abs.

We have invested heavily over the last few years to be able to grow our business in a way that meets our customers’ needs and expectations. Using the latest in high definition cnc plasma cutters we are able to mass produce unmanned identical items every time with little to no after cut prep. Doing this reduces downtime and improves the standard of the finished product. To add to this we have implemented a variety of new CLOOS welding systems, high amperage synergic pulse mig sets, high amperage synergic pulse tig sets and the latest in hand held plasma torch cutters from Lincoln.
Some of the services we can offer; aluminium mig and tig welding, stainless steel mig and tig welding, mild steel mig and tig welding and high tensile steel mig welding. We keep a variety of materials on stock, aluminium profiles, plate, rhs section and heavy high tensile Swedish steel plate, mainly Strenx high performance steel which suits the nature of the business. This allows us to produce items which are not only light and flexible but 3 times the strength of their inferior counterparts.
Onsite bending, forming, shearing, punching and cropping also available as well as lathe machining.
